We recently launched a new X-cart 5 website which we are still working out some kinks but seems good.
What I have noticed is that when we add new products to the site now it takes at least a day before the changes show on the live site.
Is this normal? Is there a way to regenerate the site to show the new products right away?
Even if we just change the order of products in a category we have to wait.
We never had this issue on X-cart 4 so I don't know if it is normal for X-cart 5.

either site caching or browser caching or both should be cleared.

Unfortunately XC5 has a real issue with cache. Although rebuild will say (and do) cache clear it is not all of it. There's some hidden internal cache that renews once a day no matter what you do. It is a real pain and I have seen it many times. Even if you turn off caching from admin.
