Also, one more thought about the venue and noise - we are going to make it on Thursday this time. Do you think it will be still too noisy? Last time the beer meeting was on Friday so we had crowds celebrating something in the bar.

Night of week doesn't change a room's acoustics. It was built to be loud. The place has an in-house DJ.

I'm not suggesting you find an anechoic chamber, but there are degrees of loudness. This place is on the "we're loud and proud" side.
