Re: X-Cart 5.3.2: Increase Conversions, Design Easier, Enjoy Many Other New Cool Tools
Tony, 532 is still in the developer wave. Check your settings.
We doubled checked your key in the marketplace; we noticed that it set in the developer wave.

The wave is connected with the license key, not with the domain or subfolder. All the stores with the same license key will be in the one wave

Re: X-Cart 5.3.2: Increase Conversions, Design Easier, Enjoy Many Other New Cool Tools
That's a good point for reference, thanks.
Quite odd that the 5.3.2 upgrade notice only initially came to the dev store (Developer) and not to all the others (Merchant). All the others only showed the upgrade notices today, yet they are all on the same domain However, we know for future upgrades now. We didn't have access to the failed upgrade dev store (see detailed previous message), but when we saw the additional upgrade notices on (Merchant) installs, we went through the dev store restore and re-upgrade process as we assumed it had been fixed - haha a pure coincidence / happy accident then! So the data we posted earlier, is obviously still undergoing checks we guess and if a fault is found, it will be corrected before the real Merchant wave releases, which is good news for us (and others) as we should then have the usual easy upgrade process on all those other installs.

The error was in the post-upgrade-rebuild-hook. We corrected it. No new release is required in this case

I still get a fatal error
ERROR: "0" (code N/A) Cannot use object of type XLite\Module\XC\PosSystem\View\PrintBarcodesButton as array I submitted a bug report on it but when I click on products it fails.

Re: X-Cart 5.3.2: Increase Conversions, Design Easier, Enjoy Many Other New Cool Tools
Our upgrades have all gone okay, no issues at all this time. We'll be very busy re-testing 5.3.2.2 and all the various module updates for quite a while now.

Re: X-Cart 5.3.2: Increase Conversions, Design Easier, Enjoy Many Other New Cool Tools
Hello
I'm trying to install xcart 5. for testing But I get and 404 not found error. http://mysite.com/xcart/install.php. Checked file permissions but it seem to be in order. I want to test it to see If can move to this version. I have been using Xcart4. for a few years. without any problems. Any info will be greatly appreciated. |
