Default X-Cart not a product anymore?
Hi,

I noticed on the X-Cart website that you can't purchase X-Cart business anymore.

We run X-Cart on our own server and also pay a yearly maintenance for updates. But if the business model now is that you can't purchase X-Cart at all, I feel like we're an extinct species, and we need to look for another shopping cart solution.

I'd love to understand what's happening.

XC moved to SaaS some time ago. I believe the process started when SL bought XC and completed few months ago.
The only way you can start an XC based store now is to contact them, sign a contract and agree to pay $200 (or maybe it was $250) per month subscription fee.

Thanks. I only noticed that they were trying to push me to VPS hosting, but even that seems to be gone. Seems like this is the time to begin the transition out.
