Hi all,

I seem to have lost my backgrounds on certain pages. My html pages are fine, but when the customer drops into the dynamic part of xcart, the menu bars dissappear and the font changes to Times New Roman (presumably the default?). Same goes for the admin home page, but click onto the "webmaster mode" link and it re-appears.

Also, I get " var store_language = "US" " apearing above some pages, not necessarily the pages without the backgrounds.

I'm sure it's just a simple fix, but I've no idea what I did, so I can't fix it!

The only thing I've done that may have a bearing is add an .htaccess file to /admin, and turn on frontpage extensions at the server ( per lildawg's suggestion in this thread http://forum.x-cart.com/viewtopic.php?t=6196 ). Other than that, I've just tinkered with stuff, but I don't remember anything that would change backgrounds etc.

Anyone have any ideas?

Bear in mind it's a live site so no placing orders unless you want the goods (although how anyone could not buy our Hair Growing Cat Soap! is beyond me! )

Can someone help me with using background images in the first place? Do you change the css file? I tried to change it to a background image vs. color but I couldn't get it to work. I put the image in the directory and then put this code:
{BACKGROUND-IMAGE: ="{$ImagesDir}/bg1.gif";

It didn't work I know you can do this because I have seen other people do it. Sorry if I sound really green.

Well, credit where credit's due!

Barely 18 hours since I posted a support ticket for this, Alexis at X-Cart writes back and says it's fixed! Taking into account the time differences from UK to Russia, I don't think that's bad going at all.
