There is a way around it. Create a root category and make it hidden in X-Cart storefront. Add products you need to display on FBTab there (they can be listed in that category as in an "additional category"). Then make that category available for FBTab.

When you say "hidden" do you mean create a category and "Disable" availabilty of that category? Or does it require a hidden category module?
