If there are any 4.1.x users out there that are not planning to upgrade to X-Cart 4.1.10 anytime soon, make sure you at least add the following Smarty security fix...
Replace the
modifier.regex_replace.php plugin with the new one (from Smarty 2.6.19) located here:
