I think $49.99 is more than reasonable for anyone who is dealing with Fraud on a daily basis, not just a handful of orders in a day, then a 20 queries is fine and dandy. But anyone who's anyone knows enough charge backs and your merchant rate will sky rocket. This is the whole reason I integrated their API was to lower my risk factor and lower my merchant rate back down to something more fair since 2checkout.com's fraud dept. just plain sucked. Finally they decided to do some changes to their fraud dept.
Anyone can also buy X-Cart's Fraud system as well, it uses the same API from maxmind but has other fraud features they have added. It's cheaper than mine but then again, you guys are out of the US, so naturally it's gonna cost less.
