Hello, some days ago we made a photo report of the US meetups, below are the minutes:
- X-Cart merchants grow with the market - their GMV growth exceeds 15%
- YOY X-Cart installations amount is doubled
- X-Cart v4 is still a very popular platform: about 75% of our customer base continues using this version. We will continue improving and supporting this version at least within the next 5 years. The nearest 4.7.4 release is planned to this November
- X-Cart v5 grows very fast. At the moment there are 220 extensions for it, free and paid ones, by both the X-Cart team and 3d party developers. The upcoming release will contain a lot of improvements, the most major ones are in Multi-vendor package
- In the next major release, v5.3, which is planned for the next year, we will make the next step to improve the performance and make the platform much more friendly for developers
- At the same time we have been working on the single marketplace for both platforms to aggregate all the traffic in one place, showing our merchants how big our developer community is and at the same time providing our developers with more leads
- We came to understanding that X-Cart needs 24/7 support service. Implementing this is our goal for the next year, and we will start at least with 24/5
- The closer acquaintance with the specific businesses of our clients is what we both can benefit from: we may be not aware of some really important, yet easy to implement requirements, they may miss the moment when the solution of some annoying problem has already become available, even if this happened long ago. We can not meet with you in person till the next meetup, but we plan to initiate e-meetings with a number of our customers to discuss their businesses and problems.
- There were several faults in the organization of these meetups, but we’re quick to learn, so will use our current experience and the recommendations the residents of these cities shared with us. We plan to organize such events in future, moreover, make them regular. So, see you next year
