here we go...

skin1/customer/products.tpl

change

Code:
$config.Appearance.products_per_row lt 4

to

Code:
$config.Appearance.products_per_row lt 5

or 6 if you want 5 columns etc.

then in general settings/appearance options change column settings to 4
