Maybe the 5-10% was overstated
but the javscript in x-cart is not essential to purchase items from the store and even with it switched off they will be able to purchase. Personally, I cannot see why people turn off things like JS
Pop up windows can be good but generally I dont think it is worth a re-write of the xcart shopping process to make it work this way.
