It looks like an error happens when you try to import images.
Try to create a local copy of your website, then disable Color Swatches module there and import images again. Does this helps? If so, it may be a bug in Color Swatches module.
Do not try doing this on your live XC5 installation as this may corrupt your database (some data may get lost when you re-enable Color Swatches back). At least create a full backup (files plus database) before disabling the module and importing any data.
