2. This isn't an issue really but rather a question. I would like to be able to see a printable version of the search page results. I removed the "if" statement in the customer/printable_link.tpl so that it always shows but it doesn't give me a printable page. Is there something else I should be looking at?

It appears that the issue is NOT with the template but with the flyout categories menu.
I submitted it to the bug tracker where it seems that was a similar problem using x-cart 5.2 or something like that.
