I have a client getting this when they try to checkout with X-Payments and GC is in the cart

ORDER PROCESSING ERROR: order declined. Review your data or contact the store administrator. Reason: Internal error (The sku field is missing or incorrect).

GC are not even consider products, they don't have sku. If the GC is deleted from the cart the checkout processes ok. This has to be a bug in X-Payments. I was not able to find anything in the bug tracker and here on the forum except for this thread which is similar.

Client uses 1.0.6 so according to the above from Alex the bug should have been fixed. The X-Payments changelog has been abandoned after 1.0.2 version was released - even 1.0.6 change log stops at 1.0.2 release - why? There were no bugs or improvements foxes for 4 versions?
