I've been reading about installing your shopping cart as close to the root as possible. Currently my shopping cart is installed in "http://www.domain.com/store" with a 301 redirect off "http://www.domain.com".
I'm running XCSeo which rewrites all of my urls in the same directory (.../store/...). Is it possible to tweek the code to rewrite the urls off of the root directory (ie:
http://www.domain.com/)?
I tossed around the idea of just reinstalling the shopping cart in the root directory, but it would make a mess of my file structure. I'm on shared hosting (have other personal domains) for the moment until more money rolls in.
