We worked on the new module version that was released recently. It is a 'major' release. Let me tell you what has been done.
1. We closed all current issues from Issue Tracker.
2. There are some improovments. Please see changelog:

New module version is available in the filearea also with support files.

During our testing we couldn't reproduce the issue 'install hung on creating snapshot'. So it may be related to specific sevrer configuration.
