What is your X-Cart version? Please add it to your signature.
If this is for X-Cart 5, do you use Shop By Brand module? Or did you just add an attribute that stores product brands, but didn't install the module?
How do you want the banner to look like? What will it display? Will it work if you just add a direct link to the page listing brand's products?
