You can change the link color as follows:
1. Sign into the back end and go to Look & Feel -> Custom CSS tab.
2. Tick the "Use custom css" checkbox, add the following code in the text area and save the changes.

How did you change the colors the last time? Did you use the custom CSS page? Or did you edit some files on the server?
