Not quite sure what your trying to achieve. On site I do work for (
http://interstellarsounds.com) I built a new block based on bestsellers. The code to pull out the newest items is also included into bestsellers.php - as that already gets called. In the block I built (newitems.tpl), there is a link to each product but a link at the bottom of the block to newproducts.php.
