I've actually had X-Cart for months now and had the X-Cart people do a bunch of mods for me, so the program will be what I need it for. So tonight I figure I will MAKE time to go ahead and start dinking around with this and start working on getting it into a useable format for my needs.

So the first simple thing I think I will tackle is to merely change the logo image to one that is on my site. So I go in and modify the head.tpl file, and upon clicking the 'save file' button, I get an error message:

Permission denied error!
File /head.tpl was not saved.

OK, so I'm obviously overlooking something obvious. But I logged in as admin (even says so on the screen I am in!), but why can't I edit the file.
