There is a possibility to add an icon to a category. What is this for? thought that when you add an icon it will be displayed on the category page.

We have mobile phones as category, i want to add icons and use them on the category pages. When visitors go to the category page they will see the icon ( the brand image ). Icon should be clickable.
Is this right?
