I am already utilizing the featured products in another area on the front page (in a corner somewhere) and these use a different format (single vertical layout) vs. the regular categories that are using the multi 2-column layout.

I created another category called frontpage_features that will include shirts I want to "showcase" on the frontpage and rotate out at my will giving them some more exposure. The featured products are being used to showcase the 2 newest products in a more visible location.

Any ideas?
