I'm reading the upgrade file called UPGRADE.NOTES_4.0.13-4.0.14 and aren't sure of a couple of items..

first, what's a hot fix?

I've made lots of small changes in the cart, some with the help of the xcart folks and some on my own. Are those "hot fixes"?

Will I have to redo all those little changes? Some are in the fancy cats module.

I see that some of you have had no trouble with the update..which gives me hope....

The UPGRADE file also mentions "PLease read UPGRADE.readme manual first to get basicd information about upgrading x_cart" and I don't see that file in what I just downloaded...the upgrade.tgz file.

Naturally, I'd hate to lose stuff that I've done...but the cart isn't open yet so I'm thinking NOW is the time to update...

UPDATE.... I found the UPGRADE.readme file...in front of my nose, once I looked in the xcart folder on the server...
