You know, I email out specials all of the time. One little thing I like to do is to make a link from a small banner that states "SPECIALS" and this link pops up all of the specials which are current.
Now you could do that to make it show on regular basis from the store as a link, but the other aspect about mailing them out on regular basis with little input from staff, well that would need to be modded.
This is not to say it could not be done, cause this IS afterall, xcart. Very versatile and the php/smarty capabilities are endless.
You could always post a request in the
http://forum.x-cart.com/viewforum.php?f=18 area for one of the modders to help out. Will cost a little, but it would be a heck of a mod for easy use and mailing.
