Speaking of reading things properly, if you scroll up, you will notice that my primary aim was to include the manufaturer in the product LISTING right underneath the title. The "trick" in the link you submitted talks only about displaying the manufacturer in the produt detail page, and even as such, it does not work FOR ME.
