Maybe the X-Cart team should outsource their newsletter and public relations department. One has to assume that their time is much more valuable with bug fixes, patches and custom services.
Have to say though, I was very pleasantly surprised at v4.0.7. Upgraded all through the 4.x series and it works great. Then I upgraded to the PRO version and have yet to get half of my menus in the admin ... ultimately, I had to do a fresh install of PRO and had a nightmare trying to get the database imported. Moving tables is too medieval.
None of my passwords worked on the old database and had to reinvent the wheel with the encrypted mysql password in order to change it. I was under the impression that PRO was built into Gold and would be a no brainer. Am I wrong or has anyone made the jump easily?
