Default Your Icon in Browser navigation bar

Hi All

Do you like people to see your small icon in the browser navigation window and for any links that they save?
It took me a long time to find out howБ─╕. The Internet is an excellent source of information, you only need to search with the right questions and be patient. I call the web (www) the World Wide Webster - itБ─≥s another TLA (Three Letter Acronym) Б─⌠ we have too many in engineering.

To make life easier for you, here is the executive summary how to:

You need to make a icon file suitable for windows. It must be 16 pixels by 16 pixels and 256 colour. It must be called Б─°favicon.icoБ─² without the quotation marks and you put it in the root directory of your site.
Eg: http://www.mysite.com/favicon.ico

The Browsers will find it and use it automatically.

I recommend Б─°ICONFORGEБ─² by http://www.cursorarts.com/ for creating your business icon.

Regards
