Buy any 6 from all items in a category feature
I am working on implementing the following feature for a client's store (v3.4.14 at the moment) and thought I should check the forum first to see if anyone has done something similar or had some suggestions.
The specifics are: We have a number of items in a category and want to offer a discount for a purchase of specific numbers of the items when purchased together ... like a 6-pack and a 12-pack. The customer would be able to choose from all items in the category which of the 6 (or 12) items they want to purchase.
It is basically a discount but only applies to the items in that category and I would like to be able to "promote" it as an item itself but still let the customer select the items they want.
Any thoughts out there?
