XC in general doesn't care much about 3rd party modules. The cart upgrade is guaranteed only for core, stock modules and XC modules.

So you may see this message on many 3rd party modules if they change existing modules or core system in any way. It is not something to ignore but it is just a warning.

You should upgrade on a dev store and see if all ok before running the live one.
