I think you can just change this:

.VertMenuBorder { 
        BACKGROUND-COLOR: #182C66; 
} 

to the color you want.... if not let me know.

I actually think they have changed how to do it in the more recent versions to be a little easier than the older ones so we may need to dig a bit in yours...
