Default Re: X-Cart 5.2.4: ShippingCalc by AuctionInc, Translation Module creator etc

I have some observations as I prepare to move to this version.

- When in the single-column layout, there is no apparent option to have for example "recently viewed products" in the centre column. Other menu items could also be affected.

- If you have only a 1-5 products in a category, and you have product adviser module set to display the products in the centre column, you could be presented with the same products up to 5 times in the same page. Under new arrivals/coming soon, featured, bestselling and the actual product listings. There could be an option to display in the homepage only, or whether to repeat a product being displayed more than once in one main column of a page.

- In the product page, when you hover a product image, the magnify area appears to not be defined correctly. The positioning could be improved, and the size of the magnify area is the same or smaller than the product image, therefore its difficult to see a large image in such a small area.
It would make more sense to take up a larger area and be aligned to the top of the product title across this div element.

- When I changed the products per page option from 9 to a higher value, it still displayed only 9 products per page in the category listing.

- When you hover a coming soon product, or in the text area below the title, it could display the date it will arrive as this data is on the product page, instead of "coming soon" which could be 5 months away.

- I would move the weight and SKU from the top of the description to the Specs tab which is almost empty and how important is the weight and SKU when you first go to the product description?

- Admin setting has define logo and favicon, but improvement can be to add apple touch icon, for when user bookmarks page in tablet/phone for example, or on the mac.

- I would like to see more visible when the customer is going to receive the product. This information can be definable by shipping option and displayed in the product area and checkout. If I have a 1-day express option set globally or for certain products and a local time limit for the day, this product page should display, you can get the product tomorrow if you order in this time and are from this location. The cart would have worked out that information from the user. This will lead to the customer having more confidence when they will get their order and more urgency when to place the order, especially if there is a low-stock-level warning. Only 2 left in stock - order soon.

With these improvements, I think it can further enhance the experience for customers, merchants and x-cart.
