CDSEO doesn't seem to change the way breadcrumbs works, but we did ask BCS Engineering if their Adv. Breadcrumbs module will work with 4.5, they are currently looking at updating it so it does work with 4.5.x-4.6.x

EDIT: We purchased and installed this module, and it's great! Works exactly how breadcrumbs are made to work. X-Cart breakcrumbs would've gotten Hansel and Gretel lost! This fixes that
