We used to have our items organized in categories under a 'Shop By Brand' category, and we would have all subcategories for each Brand/Manufacturer of products we offer (as well as using the 'Manufacturers' module).

This made it easy to use Special Offer's for specific Manufacturer's products when a Brand or Manufacturer would run a weekend sale.

Using both subcategories and manufacturers module to list products is bad for Google, since it can be seen as duplicate pages, so we disabled the subcategories and are only using Manufacturer module (as it is intended to be used).

The Special Offers module does not allow you to select products by Manufacturer, is there any way to add this in to the module? This seems like a major flaw, because if a certain Manufacturer is running a sale, there's no easy way for us to run a sale by Manufacturer besides manually finding and selecting each item.
