Here's some feedback on location from a Chicago resident:

McCormick is located a little south of the loop, but all the good bars are north of the loop. There are probably some places around there that are good, but I'm just not too familiar with them. If you are in the loop or River North area though, some good places would be:

- Tavern at the Park (Technically a restaurant but they really cater to the business crowd over tourists so the atmosphere is perfect for meetings. Definitely need a reservation.)
- Rooftop bar at the Dana Hotel (So many of the bars are loud, but if you go for a loungy rooftop you're more likely to be able to have a conversation. This place would be great for the evening too)
- Rock Bottom (This is more of a sports bar type place, young folks and locals, way more casual. It has a nice rooftop as well, but the game will be on so I don't know if that would distract anyone in the conversation.
