I tested xMenus with xMobile, and like Will said, I turned it off (in xMobile -- I find xMenus to be an INCREDIBLE product for a full-sized template!!!!)

I agree with Will - mobile needs its own navigation method.

Personally, I am no fan of responsive for ecommerce -- I am very happy with two templates. Mobile is mobile, and we can make the best experience for the customer on mobile with xMobile template. I am a fan of responsive for our blog.

I think responsive is overrated industry buzz -- if a store can have a dedicated mobile solution, it makes for a better shopping experience. That's my $.02

I think the user experience with xMenus is so far superior than without it (for every screen size except smartphones) that if I were starting all over right now, I would still build my store with xTreme (and xMenus) + xMobile (and xBanners). But that's me.

Nothing "wrong" with Fashion Walk - but without xMenus, it's just X-Cart navigation (and yes, that is meant to be derogatory). xMenus nav permits any menu item to link anywhere -- an incredible feature. xMenus can make your store behave like the $zillion brands. Now that I have xMenus, I wouldn't build a store without it.

Will, didn't mean to hijack your thread! I think xMenus is one of the "don't launch without it" modules. Hopefully you can find a way to integrate some of the features of xMenus into a responsive template like Fashion Walk for the store who prefers responsive.
