Need advice re: images location...

I have built many, many static pages... and I used the {$AltImagesDir}/custom/ to serve these many images... for my primary skin.

Now that I have a skin dedicated to mobile... whoops...

Images in {$AltImagesDir}/custom/ are not happy.

I can clone the {$AltImagesDir}/custom/ to the xMobile skin? But that's duplicate content, right?

Short of moving the images <somewhere else> (such as $ImagesDir/custom/ and fixing the links on all static pages, any other ideas?
