Unfortunately, my solution is to revert to generic alert messages.

BUT -
xMobile is working PERFECTLY, right out of the box. I don't fault xMobile for this issue -- this was my own crazy idea (to make the alert dialogs prettier) and I will need to find another way for the desktop template.
I am LOVING xMobile.
