carpeperdiem, I'm just going through your invaluable steps in post #57 and I'm puzzled that in step 1 you assign AltImagesDir and AltSkinDir yet I can't see them being used anywhere.
In step 1 are you simply overwritting their assignment, made elsewhere, and they are used in files that don't need editing?
