I could use some help solving a lingering issue with our new xcartmods.co.uk Testimonials add-on.
The testimonial's admin function does not work if we use https access. That is to say, the only way to perform the admin task is through http. {We no longer use http for ANY admin function, regardless of how innocent the task may be.}
With https access the testimonial's admin page appears. All the headings and labels are present. But the testimonial table is not populated with data. If we use http the table is populated just fine.
So a couple of questions.
1. Maybe this is a server config issue? Just to confirm, have any of you xcartmods.co.uk Testimonial users successfully used https to perform the admin (testimonial_admin.php) task?
2. If this is a software issue with the add-on, what would be the common reasons for http to work, but https to cause problems? In my case, the database data does not populate the testimonial review table.
Any advice would be appreciated. And before you ask, YES I have contacted the vendor. Despite quick replies to my installation questions, no reply to this issue that I reported on Jan 2. So I'm here, hat in hand, seeking help from the community.
