1) Ensure the rss_news.xml / rss_products.xml files exist in store root.
2) Ensure the above files are writable (CHMOD 777).
3) Ensure the full company store URL is set in general settings > company.
Then you should be able to generate feeds correctly (see the RSS feeds section in Ability settings).
