I implemented the Flexslider successfully. What sort of problems are you having with it?
A common mistake is to include jquery twice. I see this line:
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
But X-cart already has Jquery included.
