I have CDSEO v.1.8.0

Question regarding the secondary pages URL Structure for category

I put in the CDSEO Url:
/category/index2.html

After saving it becomes
/category/index2/

This results in duplicate page with.html and without

My question is
1. Shouldn't url be with .html ending
2. do i need to Disabled Url and if yes which one?

If someone can help me understand it would be greatly appreciated.
