Personally, I'd like to be able to use the productcode to replace the productid, since we require the ability to update product information on a daily basis. Products will be coming and going, so if we could use the product code from our supplier to update inventory numbers and other info, it would make things much easier.
It should be an option like: Use productcode as productid Y or N
