CandC, can you try temporarily disabling the JS/CSS speedup tools (in General Settings), and test again? I still don't trust those tools.

I believe the template that displays the messages is - skin/common_files/dialog_message.tpl - which has not been touched in the template. However, there might be a specifc DIV missing somewhere, I am investigating.
