Cleaning Up Templates - Does it speed up?
First, I know that the HTML of the templates is IMO a bit much. There are more nested divides than really necessary to accomplish the same layout.
Will cleaning that up help improve site load time?
Also, will it help speed up the customer side to remove unwanted if statements on modules? Or would I also need to remove the modules from the php?
I do know the CSS needs cleaned up as well. That should help speed things up, right?
What else can I do with the template & php code to speed up a site that is growing bigger & bigger?
