How does this mod handle forecasting when some products were out of stock for a substantial time during the sampling period?

For instance: Let's say I sell blue, red, and yellow widgets. I've been selling them for a year, but the red ones are so darn popular that I keep running out of them. When we have none in stock, the popularity of red would seem to be zero and the popularity of blue and yellow would increase as people buy their second favorite. Once red is in stock again, if I don't take outages into account I'll end up underordering the red (and therefore running out of them again) and overordering blue and yellow, causing a surplus.

Does this mod take that into account?

I'm in dire need of sales forecasting, but our supply chain can be a little iffy and we frequently have several items out of stock so I have to do a lot of math and magical hand waving to compensate. If your mod can do this accurately, I'm all over it.

(We're in the process of upgrading to 4.4.1, and I'm looking for the mods we'll most need. This is one of them, but only if it can handle stock outages in its calculations.)
