Thanks, hoosierglass!

Don't know how I overlooked those 2 css files (well, I do...there are a million files in there, I think! lol).
Well, I'm semi-versed in css (I know enough to get around and sometimes get into trouble - haha - but can usually find what I need on w3schools.com) and thought I could make it work, but making the z-index changes in those files still doesn't fix the popup ajax minicart.
I'm sure it's user error on my part...
Any other tips on what I should be doing with the css to fix this particular issue? I appreciate the earlier tips, I just don't know what I'm doing wrong here!
I have the line 2 auth css set to z-index 5 and the minicart-box to z-index 10000 (just to be safe) but in IE it's still popping up under that line 2 auth section.
GRRRRRRR...you're right, hate is NOT a strong enough word for IE!
