Hello,

Linebreaks are not the way to go with relocating elements.
You should download firefox (browser) and firebug (addon) so you can view your sites CSS in realtime and also edit it in the browser to test the effects.

Your entire store uses home.tpl so that is where the majority of the static layout is, but css is for positioning elements, text etc.
