Would you mind expanding on how this feature will work? I'm trying to decide on a version to upgrade my current store to - v4.3.1, v4.4, or v5 - and would appreciate any additional details you can offer.
-Will this be an optional feature?
-Will we be forced to use email addresses as logins?
-For stores that already have thousands of customers using non-email logins will there be any option to use both the current username or the email as the login (for transition purposes)?
-Will there be some type of unique ID field for users other than their email address, so that it can be changed/updated (unlike the current username field)?
Any details would be appreciated as this is one of the most important details for us moving forward.
