Has anyone know or tried randon image scripts?

I want to put in header like background capsul image and some random text on it linking to other pages like one line of news directs to newspage and second and other lines to different pages.

Or Display All the Products in a Row with title and price, and if someone clicks they should redirected to product page,

I know they did random image script but how to do text? I checked some free source where it gives php file and text file to upload but where do i upload text file? It X-Cart Dir or Out of X-Cart in Http
